On Skaro, the Doctor faces Davros, who manipulates him into sharing regeneration energy. Clara is captured and seemingly exterminated, pushing the Doctor toward anger. Missy plays both sides, aiding ClaraΓÇÖs survival. The Doctor ultimately outwits Davros by using the DaleksΓÇÖ own systems against them. Clara escapes, and the Doctor secretly ensures DavrosΓÇÖs survival as a child, preserving the timeline.
It picks up directly from the previous episode, with the Doctor confronting Davros and the Daleks on their home planet, Skaro.
Davros attempts to manipulate the Doctor into giving up regeneration energy, questioning whether the DoctorΓÇÖs compassion helped create the Daleks.
Clara remains conscious within the Dalek shell, but her words are translated into Dalek phrases, showing how their emotional suppression works.
Missy appears to betray Clara but ultimately helps ensure her survival, maintaining her unpredictable alliance with the Doctor.
The Doctor uses DavrosΓÇÖs plan against him, causing the Daleks to be attacked by decaying versions of themselves, while also ensuring Davros survives.
