The Weeping Angels return in 1930s New York, trapping victims in time to feed on their potential lives. Rory is sent back in time, and Amy follows him to avoid losing him forever. Despite the DoctorΓÇÖs attempts to save them, their fate becomes fixed. Amy and Rory choose to live out their lives together in the past, leaving the Doctor heartbroken and alone.
ΓÇ£The Angels Take ManhattanΓÇ¥ follows the Eleventh Doctor, Amy Pond, and Rory Williams in New York City, where the Weeping Angels manipulate time to trap victims permanently in the past.
The Angels are using the city as a feeding ground, sending people into different points in time to create a stable temporal loop they can exploit.
Amy and Rory are ultimately separated from the Doctor after a tragic confrontation with the Angels, resulting in a permanent change to their timeline.
River Song plays a key role in guiding events and ensuring certain outcomes occur, despite the emotional cost to those involved.
This episode marks a major emotional departure in Doctor Who, concluding Amy and RoryΓÇÖs journey with the Eleventh Doctor.
