The Doctor and her companions investigate a strange Norwegian house connected to another dimension. Ryan meets an alternate reality version of his grandmother. A creature known as the Solitract seeks connection but cannot survive contact with our universe. The Doctor helps resolve the emotional conflict, allowing peaceful separation between worlds while comforting those affected by loss.
The Doctor and her companions investigate a remote cabin in Norway where a blind girl hears voices from a mysterious mirror.
The Solitract is a sentient universe that manifests as a portal, creating alternate realities to interact with others.
The Solitract creates copies of loved ones, including family members, to persuade people to stay within its realm.
Characters must choose between staying in a comforting illusion or returning to reality, even if it means loss.
The episode explores grief, acceptance, loneliness, and the importance of facing reality.
