A global forest suddenly covers the Earth overnight. The Doctor, Clara, and Danny investigate with a group of children. They discover the forest is a natural defence mechanism protecting the planet from a solar flare. The Doctor initially plans to leave, believing nothing can be done, but Clara and Danny convince him to stay. Humanity survives as the trees dissipate the flare, and the forest disappears as suddenly as it appeared.
Overnight, the entire পৃথিবীর surface is covered by a massive forest. The Doctor and Clara Oswald must work with a group of children to understand why the trees have appeared.
The trees are revealed to be a natural defense mechanism triggered to protect the planet from an incoming solar flare.
Maebh Arden is a young girl who seems to have a psychic connection to the forest, helping guide the Doctor and Clara toward the truth.
No, once the solar flare has passed, the forest disappears overnight, leaving little evidence behind.
The episode focuses on nature, communication, and trust in the unknown, as well as the idea that Earth can protect itself.
