In a hidden street filled with alien refugees, the Doctor and Clara investigate a series of deaths marked by a countdown tattoo. Clara takes a risk to save another, transferring the mark onto herself. The Doctor cannot save her, as the rules are fixed. Clara accepts her fate and dies bravely, leaving the Doctor devastated and vowing to take action.
The Doctor, Clara Oswald, and Rigsy investigate a hidden alien refugee street in London called Trap Street.
Trap Street is a concealed area where alien refugees live under protection, hidden from the rest of the world.
Clara takes on a chronolock tattoo meant for Rigsy, unknowingly sentencing herself to die when the countdown reaches zero.
Ashildr, also known as Me, runs the Trap Street community but is revealed to have manipulated events.
The episode explores sacrifice, trust, and the consequences of trying to control fate.
