The Doctor visits his friend Craig, who is expecting a child. Strange disturbances in a local department store reveal the Cybermen are attempting to rebuild. Craig becomes partially converted but resists through the power of his love for his son. The Doctor stops the CybermenΓÇÖs plan, but receives a call from the mysterious Silence, reminding him that his death is imminent at Lake Silencio.
ΓÇ£Closing TimeΓÇ¥ follows the Eleventh Doctor as he visits his old friend Craig Owens while investigating strange Cyberman activity in a department store.
The store is being used as a covert Cyberman conversion site, where humans are being transformed into Cybermen using hidden machinery.
Craig is a returning character from ΓÇ£The LodgerΓÇ¥. He is now a father and must protect his baby while helping the Doctor uncover the Cyberman threat.
Baby Alfie, nicknamed ΓÇ£Stormageddon, Dark Lord of All,ΓÇ¥ provides comedic relief but also becomes part of the emotional grounding of CraigΓÇÖs story.
This episode blends comedy and Cyberman horror in Doctor Who, while showing a quieter side of the Eleventh Doctor before the finale.
